A word of warning, if you're a diehard karaoke buff then this article isn't for you. The following paragraphs are intended for those casual karaoke singers who just want nice cheap system to rock out on with their friends. The product in question is the Karaoke Microphone Mixer, which is probably the best product of its kind in its price range. If you aren't bothered about fancy features or fancy voice effects then listen up.
I first found out about this karaoke player because it is features in many lists of bestselling products in online retailing websites. I didn't really think much of it at the time but now I have used it I can truly appreciate what this system provides which other products do not, simplicity.
Some of the higher end mixers have a whole range of different voice enhancement features, special effects and treble controls which the majority of casual users don't need. This product only features the basics, it comes with two microphones and a mixer box, total set up time 30 seconds, and that's exactly why it's so brilliant. All you need to do is plug in the mixer to your CD or DVD player and you're ready to go, if you're just up for having a laugh with your friends you really won't want anything more than this.
Performance wise this product sounds great whilst never really excelling. Users will have experience different sound quality depending on the types of speakers the device that they are plugging the system into features. I plugged it into my DVD player and it sounded really great through my flat screen's speakers, and my TV isn't anything special. Retailing at just under £20 I really don't think I can fault this product, sure the mic wires are a little short and it could have done with a DVD with a few tracks on it, but for the price I think it's pretty reasonable.
All in all the Karaoke Microphone Mixer system will serve the casual home user very well. It's easy to set up and requires literally no configuration, the system takes up next to no space and you won't be tripping over loads of different wires either. I can confidently say this is one of the best karaoke products on the market for the money, sure not everyone will like its simplicity and lack of features, but then again it's not really aimed at that audience.
